What is CranioSacral?

It is a technique of listening to the body — finding where there are restrictions in the nervous system, releasing those restrictions, and letting the body heal

How does it work?

The treatment itself is performed with you fully-clothed, lying down, and is very gentle. Make sure to dress comfortably!

I place my hands in specified orientations, depending on the area of the body I'm working on, to assess and, if appropriate, facilitate a release in the tissues.

Depending on what I feel during the assessment portion, I may spend 10 seconds in one area, and 10 minutes in another.

What does a session include?

During the first session, we review your history and reason for seeking CranioSacral Therapy (CST). I usually start with the 10-step protocol developed by Dr. Upledger to clear your entire body.

Subsequent sessions will focus on the area(s) of the body that need(s) releasing.

It is recommended to start with 3-4 sessions. Afterwards, people often do a "maintenance" session monthly.
